Finding Your Listserv Password

If you need to make a change to your NHAIS-L or NHAIS-ILL listserv subscription and have forgotten your listserv password you can ask the listserver to send it to you at the email address where you are subscribed to the list.

• Go to the info page for the list you need your passoword for (NHAIS-ILL or NHAIS-L)
• Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where there is a section with the word "Subscribers" in the title bar
• In that section is a button that says "Unsubscribe or Edit Options." Enter your email address into the box next to that button then click the button (it won't unsubscribe you, it just takes you to another page where you can do stuff)
• At the bottom of the page that displays is a section called "Password Reminder." Click on the button in that section marked "remind"
• In the top left corner of the screen a message will appear that says "A reminder of your password has been emailed to you."
• The email message with your password in it will be delivered to the address you entered (which must match the one at which you are subscribed to that listserv) within a few minutes. If it doesn't turn up, check your spam folders.

Brief NHU-PAC outage Tue 4/24 7:45am

Tuesday, Apr. 24: It's the last Tuesday of the month so NHAIS Services will be restarting NHU-PAC servers this morning, starting at 7:45. Most NHU-PAC features will be restored within 5 minutes but Holdings Maintenance usually takes an extra 5 minutes or so.

Brief searching outage Fri 4/6 4pm

Friday, April 6: There will be a brief interruption of NHU-PAC searching at 4 o'clock this afternoon to update keyword indexes. The outage should last no more than 5 minutes.

Friday is Deadline for Public Library Reports!

Janet Eklund reports that to date over 100 libraries have NOT submitted their Annual Public Library Statistics Report. About 75% of these started their surveys but never finished.
The deadline for completing these is Friday, April 6th!
I would like to urge you to make this an important task to accomplish this week.

WebDewey Renewals Due This Month

The renewal/subscription period for ordering WebDewey through NHAIS ends on April 15, 2012.

The current cost to NHAIS libraries for a one-year subscription (from 5/1/2012 - 4/30/2013) is $220.
