Web 2.0: Tagging Class

Do words like, "tagging, folksonomy, and Web 2.0" leave you guessing?

Consider attending the Web 2.0: Tagging class on Wednesday morning (May 2nd) at the State Library. Here is a brief description of the class:

Tagging, or the act of assigning keywords to digital objects, is a fundamental feature of Web 2.0. In this two-hour, hands-on class, participants will learn about tagging and how it adds value to user-generated content, discover sites that utilize tags, and create tags for (provided) digital content.

P.S. The class will offer an overview of Web 2.0 and an explanation of what makes it different than Web 1.0.
