Important changes to NHAIS e-mail lists

Important information for subscribers to NHAIS-L and NHAIS-ILL:

Mary Russell and I, the administrators of NHAIS-L and NHAIS-ILL, have just received word from the state's Office of Information Technology that these and other e-mail lists hosted by the state will be moving to a new server this weekend. This has important implications for subscribers:

1) The current addresses to send messages to NHAIS-L and NHAIS-ILL will no longer be valid after today. If you have a message you're planning to send to either list PLEASE SEND IT BEFORE 3 P.M. TODAY (June 8, 2007)!!!

2) DO NOT SEND MESSAGES TO NHAIS-L OR NHAIS-ILL THIS WEEKEND!!! The addresses will no longer be valid after today. Messages sent after 3 p.m. Friday, June 8, may make it through to the soon-to-be-retired server so senders won't get an "undeliverable" notification but that doesn't mean we'll be able to approve the messages and post them to the lists.

3) Watch for a message with the new addresses for NHAIS-L and NHAIS-ILL on Monday, June 11. We'll try to send word to subscribers as soon as it's available and will have a message here on the NHAIS Notes blog as well.

Sorry about the very late notice about this important change; we didn't know until this morning when the server change was going to happen.
