2014/2015 Conservation Moose Grant open

Grant applications for the 2014/2015 year for the Moose Conservation License Plate Grant Program are now being accepted.  Grant guidelines and application forms are available at the State Library’s website

Public Libraries owning public documents in need of conservation, microfilming and digitization should apply!  The application process is relatively easy and this state funded conservation program awards a maximum of $10,000 with no matching requirements.

Please call Janet Eklund at 271-2393 if you have a project in mind.   I will tell you if your proposed grant activities are eligible and help you with the application process. Applications are due April 25th 2014.  Each year more than $50,000 is awarded.  Please consider applying.  This State Library grant program  is a wonderful opportunity to conserve your unique documents, manuscripts or other endangered and rate materials in need of preservation.
