Atriuum, Destiny record export workshops Wed. 10/29

Online workshops will take place next Wednesday (Oct. 29) to demonstrate exporting files of MARC records from Atriuum and Destiny for purposes of adding holdings to the NHU-PAC.  Similar workshops for LibraryWorld and Alexandria users will probably be scheduled the following week--watch for an announcement.  Also expect more workshops aimed at libraries that don't have a computerized catalog.

To participate in the online demos, you'll need to be able to use GoToMeeting and should be able to hear audio (via speakers or headphones) from your computer.  A dial-in option will be available for those without computer audio but be aware that long-distance charges may apply.  You don't need a microphone--participants will be able to submit questions through their keyboards.

Although I've booked 45 minutes for each session, I expect all the important information will be covered in less than half that time.  You're welcome to join from work, from home, or from the road (unless you're driving, of course).  To attend, click on the appropriate link at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time and follow any prompts to launch Citrix GoToMeeting.  I hope to record the workshops and offer edited versions for on-demand viewing later but attending a workshop live gives you the opportunity to ask questions.  If you have questions about how the online meetings work, you can read the GoToMeeting FAQs or contact the NHAIS Help Desk.
