LibraryWorld export workshop Nov. 13 10am

An online workshop will take place next Thursday (Nov. 13) to demonstrate exporting files of MARC records from LibraryWorld for purposes of adding holdings to the NHU-PAC.  A similar workshop for Alexandria users will be scheduled soon.  Also expect another workshop aimed at libraries that don't have a computerized catalog.  Workshops on exporting from Atriuum and Destiny were held last month; those sessions were recorded and Mary Russell and I are working on making on-demand video available.

To participate in the online demonstration, you'll need to be able to use GoToMeeting and to hear audio (via speakers or headphones) from your computer.  You don't need a microphone--participants will be able to submit questions through their keyboards.

Although I've booked 45 minutes for the session, I expect all the important information will be covered in less than half that time.  You're welcome to join from work, from home, or from the road (unless you're driving, of course).  To attend, click on the link above at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time and follow any prompts to launch Citrix GoToMeeting.  If you have questions about how the online meetings work, you can read the GoToMeeting FAQs or contact the NHAIS Help Desk.
