ILL vacations
With the holidays upon us, it's time for a reminder to let NHAIS Services know if your library will not be answering ILL requests for a period of more than three days. We'll set your ILL account so requests won't be routed to your location during the vacation period. Or, rather, so requests shouldn't be routed to your location. There's currently a bug that's interfering with the way SHAREit's vacation function works and Auto-Graphics expects to release a fix soon. In the meantime, NHAIS Services will do what it can to see that requests don't waste time hanging around at libraries that aren't going to answer for an extended period.
To let NHAIS Services know you won't be responding to requests for more than three days, please send your library name along with the first and last dates of your ILL vacation to nhu-pac@dncr.nh.gov or give us a call at 603-271-2141.
