FAQ: I can’t find a record in NHU-PAC that exactly matches the item I’m trying to catalog. Should I just use a record that’s fairly close?

No. You may submit information about items not found in the NHU-PAC by going to the Holdings Maintenance tab, clicking on the Add Brief Records subtab, and logging in. On the form that comes up, you’ll need to choose a format for your item and then gives us as much information as you think would be helpful for us to find a matching record on OCLC.  Requests submitted in this way are typically processed and appropriate records added to NHU-PAC within a couple of business days.
