A Housekeeping Announcement

The State Department of Information Technology has changed its policy regarding listserv archives. In the past the archives basically stayed there as long as the server was unchanged (NHAIS-L archives go back to 2006 for example). Going forward the archives will remain available (in the case of the NHAIS-L and NHAIS-ILL lists they are non-public so are only available to subscribers) for the current year + one year into the past.


I don't see this making a huge difference to anyone -- how often do you read the listserv archives from more than 24 months ago?-- but I wanted to let people know.
