Nighttime NHAIS interruptions Tue 4/7 & Wed 4/8

The NHAIS ILL System will be unavailable for about 15 minutes starting at 10 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday (April 7-8). The interruptions are necessary is to install updates to SHAREit, most of which involve system-level utilities that users won't notice. One fix addresses an issue users may have noticed: some Will Not Supply reasons that should result in Unfilled were resulting in Retry. That led lenders to receive the same request again in some cases. The code has been corrected so the Will Not Supply [Retry] and [Unfilled] reasons will be honored.

Please remember that any requests placed in the NHAIS ILL System until at least May 4 will immediately go to Retry or Unfilled status because all locations are set to be "on vacation." When it's clear that service can resume, NHAIS Services will post instructions on how to get back up to speed with your requests. You don't need to do anything in the system in the meantime.
