ILL fixes and enhancements coming Tuesday night

Two weeks ago the NHAIS ILL System was updated so that the lender list build process would accept a match on standard numbers like ISBN's, LCCN's, and ISSN's without applying validation checks on title and author. Now OCLC control numbers will also be considered a sufficient match for this process.

This is one of a handful of enhancements and fixes being installed tonight (Tuesday, May 5) starting at 9 o'clock..The system will be unavailable until the installation is complete, which should take less than 15 minutes. Other changes coming tonight:

-The “My Library” designation in the Where to Find It section of the full record was not displaying as expected. This has been corrected.

-Lenders were sometimes prevented from marking requests as Shipped even when the request had moved to their library due to it expiring at the prior library. This was due to the NCIP Cancel process not occurring and has been corrected.

-When a backslash was used in the ISBN field of a request it caused the request to display with incorrect information. This has been corrected.
