NHAIS enhancements: favicons, ARIA tags, and tab navigation
Enhancements were made to the the NHAIS Interlibrary Loan System last night, with details coming from Auto-Graphics a bit late for advance notice here.
-Navigation has been improved for keyboard users who employ the tab key to move around a page. Tab movement is streamlined and more logical. Bold, outlined highlights make it easier to see which function is selected.
-ARIA (Accessibly Rich Internet Application) tags have been added to page header links to improve accessibility.
-The little icon that displays next to the site name at the top of your browser (a favicon) has been changed from an A in a red shield to the current Auto-Graphics logo:
Details aren't available yet but the next scheduled system enhancements are expected to be implemented on the evening of Tuesday, July 28.
