To allow installation of fixes and enhancements, the NHAIS ILL System will be offline for up to 15 minutes tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 5) starting at 10 o'clock.
-A recent change to the print functionality for request status and pick lists resulted in requests being in groups of 25 for printing. This proved unsatisfactory for some high-volume ILL departments so further changes have been made in the program.
With this release, the pop-up print window allows the user to determine the “Number of Requests to Print.” If there are fewer than 50 requests in the list, the “Number of Requests to Print” will default to the actual number of requests in the list. If there are more than 50 requests in the list, the “Number of Requests to Print” will default to 50, but the user can change that value to print up to the total number of requests. If a value greater than the total number of requests is entered, the user will be prompted to enter a value equal to or less than the total number of records.
-Requests that stayed unanswered at a potential lender for 4 days (the maximum response time) were at times
skipping lenders and generating an error message beginning with “User
ILL permissions cannot be verified…” This has been corrected so the
requests will go to the next potential lender as expected.
