Undo Shipped adjustment coming tonight (Mon 1/10)

The NHAIS ILL System will be offline for about 15 minutes tonight (Monday, Jan. 10) starting at 10 o'clock. Most of the program updates being installed during this time affect administrative functions but there's one change users may see.

Currently, the Undo Shipped option is available only on the day a request is marked Shipped. With tonight's update, Undo Shipped will be available until the Date Shipped has passed. Although most users don't alter the Date Shipped and use the system-supplied current date when a request is marked Shipped, there is an option on the Lender's Full Record Display to change the Date Shipped (it's right above the Due Date). It's entirely optional but this feature could be used when you're marking requests Shipped on Monday but know the van pick-up isn't until Thursday. The date change has to be made at the same time the status is changed to Shipped.
