Preventing duplicate requests
The NHAIS ILL System will be offline tonight (Thursday, June 9) for about 15 minutes starting at 10 o'clock to allow program updates to be installed.
Most of the updates address administrative functions but one enhancement coming tonight will change what you see after submitting a request. When placing requests, including staff-placed Multi Copy requests, it has been possible to inadvertently click the Submit button more than once, thereby creating duplicate requests.
With this release, as soon as the Submit button is clicked it will turn into a spinner and the user will not be able to click Submit again. The request confirmation will display when the request process is complete.
