Copy Cataloging Refresher

Looking to brush up on the basics of copy cataloging? I put together a presentation for the Carroll County Library Coop on that very topic back in December and from that presentation I have created a video that defines some basic terms and offers tips for better copy cataloging. 

 

The resources mentioned in the video include the NHAIS Cataloging Resources page (which will be a LibGuide one of these days) and the handout Developing a Local Cataloging Policy. An online class is in development on creating a local cataloging policy. I am hoping to have it ready for early March.
