ILL update, cataloging outage Fri 1/5
Friday, Jan. 5: Another weekend without the NHU-PAC ILL program lies ahead of us. Please observe suggestions posted 3 weeks ago as we continue to cope with this situation.
Tomorrow marks one month since our ILL server suffered a catastrophic failure. New hardware was in place 6 days later. Installing and configuring the operating system took another week, then work on restoring the ILL program began. That work by SirsiDynix technicians continues.
Finally, a reminder to catalogers that the NHU-PAC MARC Record Request Form will be offline for about 12 hours starting at 8 o'clock tonight. This outage is for server maintenance scheduled by SurveyMonkey.
