Welcome to the new NHAIS ILL System

At long last, it's here! The new NHAIS Interlibrary Loan System is open for business and ready to process ILL requests. Password information was sent Monday afternoon to directors of libraries whose staff attended training.

Need help with the new system? Contact the NHAIS Help Desk by e-mail or call 271-2141. Please don't e-mail help requests to Mary and David and various other people at the State Library. It's much more efficient for us to deal with problems and questions sent through the NHAIS Help Desk mailbox which is monitored all the time the library is open, not just when one of us happens to be at our desk.

Catalogers who've been downloading MARC records from the NHU-PAC via a Z39.50 connection should change settings for the NHU-PAC. Most of the information needed is at the top of the Options for Downloading MARC Records from NHU-PAC handout. Follow instructions there to obtain the password.

Once you've seen how the new system works, you may also send the NHAIS Help Desk your suggestions for improvements. We plan to post suggestions on our development ideas page for possible submission to Auto-Graphics. Note that anonymous suggestions will not be accepted and suggestions must be sent via e-mail to the NHAIS Help Desk.
