Further fixes for ILL program
Auto-Graphics plans to apply the following fixes to SHAREit tonight (Jan. 28) around 10 o'clock. Downtime for the NHAIS Interlibrary Loan System should be no more than 15 minutes.
- When attempting to download MARC records, either from Your Lists or the Download Cart, the resulting file was empty. The MARC file now contains the downloaded records.
- Overdue items that were rejected for renewal were going back to the borrower in Overdue status. This has been corrected and they will now go into Rejected Renewal status.
- In Advanced Search, if only the third search box was used, it would ignore the selected index and turn the search term to a wildcard, resulting in multiple unrelated results. This has been corrected.
- Attempting to place requests, including multi-copy requests, on records with hundreds of holdings sometimes resulted in a blank request form. Adjustments have been made to prevent this problem.
- The Participant Record setting for “Allow Patrons to Change Pickup Location” was not being respected, resulting in patrons being able to change their pickup location even if the setting was “No.” This has been corrected.
- On the patron request form, sometimes only the Submit button displayed but the rest of the fields did not. This has been corrected and expected fields will display.
- On the Advanced Search screen, all sections will now be open by default.
- Searches were timing out for Z-targets with very large location mapping. Adjustments have been made to prevent this error.
- In the Where to Find It section of the full record, there was no indication if the library you were logged into owned the item. This has been corrected and the logged-into library will display first with “My Library” appended to the library name.
- The allowable number of authors to display in the Authors facet has been increased to display more authors.
- When searching SHAREit from a SirsiDynix catalog set up with a search tab for SHAREit, only single-word searches were successful. The A-G Z-target was modified to correct this issue.
The following enhancements are also part of tonight's update:
