Pick list improvements and other fixes 3/12
In a departure from the regular schedule of maintenance updates to SHAREit, no fixes were applied to the NHAIS ILL System on Tuesday night. Instead, they're scheduled for tonight (Thursday, March 12). Service will be interrupted for about 15 minutes starting at 10 p.m. Here are the issues tonight's update will address:
--Pick Lists were not honoring the sorted order when printing. To
address this, a new window will open after selecting Pick List with a
Sort option; the user can select a field to sort on in Ascending or
Descending order:
--The Submit button did not display on the Request Form when using Safari Mojave. This has been corrected.
--Multiple links were highlighted and remained highlighted on the Staff Dashboard when selected; this has been corrected.
--When a qualifier (e.g., Large Print) was used in Advanced Search, if the user went to a full record and clicked a link (e.g., Author) to conduct a new search, the Advanced Search qualifier was pre-filtering the search – the new search was retaining the old filters. This is now corrected, and a search initiated from a full record link will be treated as a new, unfiltered search.
--The MARC Tag Report was generating an “Error Saving File” message; this has been corrected.
--If a user deleted the items from the first list they had created, they could no longer access the List function. This has been corrected.
