Items that Never Left Home
Lots of materials that were in transit have now been sent back to their owning libraries and we provided instructions several weeks ago on how the owning library can get those transactions cleared out of the ILL system.
However, you may also have materials that were in your van bins that you intended to loan to another library and which never got picked up and delivered because of the shut-down. This post explains how you can clear those transactions.
Start by logging into the ILL system and going to your Request Manager.
Transactions that were "shipped" but never actually left home are now going to be in "not received" status on the Lender side of the screen.
Click on "Not Received" to see the list of these items.
For each item in the list, select "Check in" from the drop-down menu at the far right. When all of the items have "Check in" selected click on the SUBMIT button at the top of the screen. That will move all of these transactions into "Complete" status. These materials can now be returned to your collection.
Thank you to the Fremont Public Library for their help in testing this process!
