Format icons coming to the NHAIS ILL System

Format icons will begin appearing in the NHAIS ILL System following a program update tonight (Tuesday, March 2). The system will be offline for up to 15 minutes beginning at 10 p.m. to install the update.

Search results will now include format icons in the List view, Brief Browse view, and the Full Record display. The icons will not display in Gallery view.

The List / Clustered grouping view below shows how the format icons will display next to the format name, similar to how they will display in the Brief Browse view:

Other enhancements and fixes coming tonight:

-If a search term is misspelled but can be auto-corrected to a valid term, the results for the valid term will be displayed as “Showing results for [term]” rather than the "No results were found for the term(s) used" message.

-Two issues that could occur when printing from Your Lists have been corrected:
1. If you selected a list to print but then canceled the print job when in print preview mode, if you clicked “Print” again, the records from the original print attempt would display twice; titles will now display only once regardless of the number of print/cancel/print attempts.
2. After printing one list, if a second was selected to print it would result in a blank page; multiple lists will now be able to be printed in succession.

-When saving lists as a Guest user (not logged in), multiple lists created on the same day were assigned the same name using the date the lists were created. With this release, additional lists created by Guest users on the same day will be appended with “+1”, “+2”, etc.
