Never mind the zeroes, continued

Monday, Oct. 25: It's always been true that you need to take the holdings numbers shown in the NHAIS ILL System with a grain of salt--and it's even more true now that the system is showing nothing but zeroes in parentheses on the brief view page. How do you know you're looking at the brief view? The answer is found in the URL displayed by your browser:

Disregard the zeroes and create your requests as normal. Once you've submitted your request, the lender list build process will determine available lenders and see that your request is routed to them. If it turns out there are no available lenders, you should find out fairly quickly when your request goes to Unfilled or Retry status.

Auto-Graphics is working on a fix for the bug causing those zeroes to display.
