Zeroing in on a fix

Wednesday, Oct. 27: Auto-Graphics tells us to expect a fix for the "zero availability" issue to be installed on the week of Nov. 9. "All of our testing indicates that other than that display on [the brief view] page possibly giving the wrong impression to the user, this issue is not otherwise impacting any requests or lender list builds."

While the fix is being worked on, please continue to place individual requests without regard to the zeroes you may see in parentheses on the brief view page. Remember that the lender list build process does its own searching, looking for matching holdings based on the record you chose to create the request, after you hit the Submit button.

The multi-copy issue reported earlier this week appears to be a transient error unrelated to the zeroes. Click on Multi Copy if that's what you need and, as always, submit the request if it finds enough potential lenders for your needs or write to the NHAIS-ILL e-mail list if it doesn't.
