Shipping label changes and fixes coming tonight (Tue 2/15)
Further adjustments to shipping labels are among enhancements being installed along with several bug fixes to the NHAIS ILL System tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 15). The system will be offline for up to 15 minutes starting at 10 o'clock for the update.
-Shipping label changes include an increase in font size and decrease in margin size to improve readability. Line wrapping and the maximum number of lines per field have been adjusted. Separate from tonight's enhancements, you may have noticed in recent days that (NC) has been added to the top line of shipping labels for locations on North Country van routes. This is to aid sorting of materials at the State Library.
-In the Activity and Request Report for lending, results were not including libraries with no lending activity while libraries with borrowing activity were listed twice. This has been corrected.
-For libraries allowing patron-initiated requesting in the ILL system, patron-created requests were listed as "staff" in the "Created by" column in the Activity and Request Report for request records. This has been corrected.
-Requests in Conditional status could remain in the borrower’s Conditional queue if not responded to after 4 days (the “Days to Respond” period). This has been corrected.
