New Large Print Collection at NHSL
A few of the LP books in processing |
The Talking Books section of the NHSL has set up a collection of large print books for use by any NH readers who would like to borrow them. There are currently 250+ titles cataloged and ready for borrowing with many more (hundreds more!) still being processed. The collection includes fiction, nonfiction, and biography titles across a wide range of genres and subjects. New books are being processed and added to the catalog in small batches so there will be new titles available every week for the next several months.
"While many public libraries have large print collections we wanted to supplement those holdings and help to build a diverse collection of large print titles in the state. This collection, because it is available through NHAIS ILL, serves as a bridge between public library service and the NH Talking Book services." --Marilyn Stevenson, TBS Librarian
The Large Print collection titles are available through the NHAIS ILL System. To see everything that is available please visit the NHSL catalog.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
