ILL fixes and enhancements for Tue 3/29

The NHAIS ILL System will be offline briefly tonight (Tuesday, March 29) to install program updates. Improvements include these fixes:

-Entering a single year in the Advanced Search “Year of Publication” filter resulted in the message “A start and end range are required.” This has been corrected so users can again filter by a single year by entering the year in one field and leaving the other blank.

-In Advanced Search, if the union catalog (NHU-PAC) was selected to be searched plus at least one Z-target resource, the Search button was grayed out if no union catalog records matched the search term(s). This has been corrected so Z-targets will be able to be searched. (Even so, remember that not all Z-targets are able to return results for advanced searches.)

A couple of enhancements are also part of tonight's update:

-When a search term is used but there is not an exact match, often due to a misspelling in the search term, SHAREit will attempt to correct the term and display results. With tonight's update the message is clearer and indicates that the results are for a different, corrected term and displays as:
“There were no results for [entered term] – Showing results for [new term]”

-When records from Z-targets are added to a list, the ability to click on the cover art to open the full record will now be functional even after the day the record is added to the list, as with records from the NHU-PAC.
