ILL fixes Thu 7/21
The NHAIS ILL System will be offline for approximately 15 minutes starting at 10 o'clock tonight (Thursday, July 21) to allow installation of program updates. Issues being addressed:
-When search terms included a hyphen, the hyphen was treated as an “OR” statement, so a search for COVID-19 could return results that had a “19” in them but were not relevant to COVID. This has been corrected and a hyphen will be treated as “AND” so the results will contain both terms. (Even with the "OR" issue, you still should have seen works with both terms at the top of your results as long as the sort order was Relevance--the default setting. As you scrolled down, though, you'd see results that had nothing to do with COVID.)
-In search results, sort by Relevance was not being honored when the search results grouping was set to “No Grouping.” This has been corrected. (The default grouping setting is "Clustered" but you can choose "Merged" or "No Grouping" if you prefer. Hover over the question mark next to "Group By" to see what the different groupings do.)
