Needs Assessment - MARC Records for NHAIS Libraries

Given the changed environment in the library cataloging world after the demise of Baker & Taylor, NHSL is asking NHAIS libraries to complete a short survey to give us a clear picture of the cataloging needs within your libraries. This input will guide our decision making as we move forward without the option of the BTCat MARC source we had expected to make available.

We are hoping to hear from ALL the NHAIS interlibrary loan participants and any other NH library that has thoughts to share on this topic. The survey will remain open until the end of the day on Monday, November 10, 2025. We are looking for as much input on this question as possible, so if you have an opinion about this please complete the survey, we will be able to tell if we got multiple responses from the same library and will take that into account when analyzing the responses.
